In this short read, Jacqueline shares the power of Purpose not Perfect (PnP). PnP is about a leader looking for strength and the permission to be their authentic self. This PnP journey began by me talking and encouraging my younger self. I needed to speak with the most vulnerable part of myself, forgive and love all of me. Not trying to be perfect, not try to please other people but to be powerfully authentic and walking into life into situations and challenges with a renewed mind. An emotional freedom to fulfill the greatest part of myself, the talents that I was gifted with. PnP is growing up, mature and shedding the fear & doubt accepting the blessings that God has given me. I lived most of my life trying to be perfect, fix the broken pieces of my life trying to cauterize my pains, disappointments and life challenges by being a perfectionist. I am a recovering perfectionist. I know I needed to address my journey to my purpose. There was a purpose in my struggle to be perfect. I know how it feels to run nowhere and be out of breath; not physically out of breath, rather drowning in my marathon to be perfect. I was addicted to perfection. Now, I am obedient to my purpose to share my journey and inspire you to live on purpose. Part of my purpose is to be personable (a gift), be that energy in the room you feel connected with. This gift has served me well throughout my career and personal life, I needed to share my experiences to receive my new blessings. Holding on to emotional turmoil and dysfunction was not healthy for me. You can forgive yourself for not knowing or being taught you are the special sauce. You have a contribution the world is waiting for. I am delighted to share this book with you and the world.
